MATT FINISH is a reuse project that explores print as a form of communication and translation on a garment’s surface. Founded and led by photographer Agnieszka Chabros, for each capsule collection MATT FINISH invites a fashion designer, artist, publisher and stylist to create a capsule collection reworking found clothing through printing. MATT FINISH collaborators have creative freedom to express themselves within the conditions of the upcycled materials, forming an alternative model to practices mass production by re-discovering the one-off garment.
MATT FINISH collaborators include Brittany Rouse, Blake Barns, Actually Existing, Vanessa Duque, Remie Cibis, Mode and Mode, Julia Trybala and Kim Clark.
